Colaboratorii organelor de drept din Falesti discuta mecanismul de implementare a medierii in cauze penale


The Institute for Penal Reform keeps on with informational and educational activities on new institutions of the criminal and criminal procedure law for prosecutors, judges and policemen.

Therefore, a Round Table “The implementation of the mediation in penal causes assured by the State” was carried out in Falesti on 12 February, 2009.
The aim of the activity consisted in informing prosecutors, judges and penal pursuit officers concerning the implementation of mediation in penal cases.
Participants have specified the importance of this institution, taking into account its benefits both for the State and community.
The proposals made by the participants were the following:

- To carry on informational and awareness raising activities concerning mediation
- To go on with trainings for judges, prosecutors and penal pursuit officers
- To increase the number of articles stipulating mediation as a way of conflict resolution between offenders and victims.
